WALKS

One of the best ways to discover London’s history is by walking the city’s streets. Through a series of six historical walks, each with its own themes and each lasting two to three hours, I offer guests the opportunity to explore London’s remarkable history with me. Each walk stands alone as a historical survey of an area of London in a particular period of time; together, the six walks tell a story which covers 2000 years in the area between Mayfair in the west and Poplar in the east, Kings Cross in the north and the river Thames to the south.

If you would like to join me on one of these walks, please get in touch. The walks can be booked individually or as a group of six. I usually take out small bands of people – families visiting London, groups interested in London’s history, schoolchildren on enrichment trips, even office colleagues looking for a work-night-out with a difference. I schedule the walks at a time which is convenient to you.

My walks have featured in the Three Perfect Days section of United Airlines’ award-winning Hemispheres magazine, which you can read here.
